What are the differences?
Non-Pressurized isolation module for grinding aluminum
A collection modular designed specifically for grinding aluminum. The modular as illustrated is shipped assembled with motor, fan, filters, and spark arrester panels to prevent possible fires from hot aluminum debris. Railing design allows curtains to be moved to the back of the module when not in use.
Features include:
- High Efficient 3-Stage filtration system, rated at 99.3%, provides 100% recirculation of shop air, includes HEPA filter
- 18 gauge galvanized steel powder-coated white panels
- Welding grade see through curtains
- Suspended from ceiling (cabling not included), column supports available for additional charge
- Garmat’s proprietary Fortex Spark Arresters
- Optional Magnahelic Gauge available
Lighting
Each mixing room comes with 4-tube interior accessible sealed light fixtures fitted with clear tempered glass for optimal safety. Each fixture is equipped with T-8 5000K color corrected fluorescent tubes to ensure accurate mixing and color matching. 120V, Class 1 div II, ETL listed
Filtration
Filter is comprised of superior grade fiberglass media allowing for full depth loading and high dust holding capacity. Performance enhancing skin backing prevents migration of smaller particles.
Ventilation
Shop air is drawn into the room with an 800 CFM intake fan and exhausted with a 900 CFM extract fan ensuring fresh air is constantly circulating through the room.

CHAPTER 6 OF NFPA 33 REQUIREMENTS:
When a mix room is within 6′ of a spray booth the combined content cannot exceed 120 gallons total. When the mix room is more than 6′ from the spray booth contents are limited to 2 gallons per square foot up to a limit of 300 gallons. Mix rooms shall be designed to contain a spill of the contents in the room. Mix rooms under NFPA 33 guidelines are limited to a maximum of 150 sq. ft.
